Dr. Cat Maddox graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Western States, where she was honored to be class speaker. While earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine, she also began her postgraduate studies in functional neurology both via The Carrick Institute and the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation (IAFNR). Prior to attending chiropractic school, Dr. Cat was the rehabilitation coordinator in a chiropractic neurology clinic for 3.5 years. It was here she saw a need for more functional neurology practitioners to work with complicated cases such as post-concussion syndrome, unremitting vertigo, dysautonomias and overall cognitive decline.

Dr. Cat is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and spent 10 years working as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor helping clients move with more ease and less pain.I started my own practice after being in the functional neurology "world" since 2011. There is a need for more chiropractic neurology offices and there wasn't one near my home in NE Portland.
