Dr. Douglas Schwan, DC Dipl Ac is a Doctor of chiropractic and master acupuncturist from Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Schwan is a Diplomat of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA). He has published several textbooks on chiropractic technique and has lectured extensively to live audiences. He has also been featured on radio shows where he has spoke on holistic health care, acupuncture, and chiropractic care.

Dr. Schwan completed his pre-medical training at the University of Toledo. From there, he was admitted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated in 1982 with a doctorate degree in chiropractic. Later, he completed advanced programs in orthopedics, radiology and electrodiagnosis.

Over the last 32 years of practice, he has developed a broad holistic approach to medicine that unifies several disciplines including chiropractic, Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutrition and acupuncture.Dr. Arthur Schwan established his office off Douglas & Monroe streets in 1958. Dr. Douglas Schwan took over the practice in 1982 and in 2013' moved the practice to its present location on Central ave between Douglas & Secor road in Toledo Ohio.
