Dr. Hetland has dedicated his life to helping patients receive the highest quality Gonstead Chiropractic care with advanced therapies like Spinal Decompression for Disc rehabilitation. One of a small number of Gonstead Specialists Chiropractors in MN and a member of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society as well as the Minnesota Chiropractic Association.

Beyond the eight years college education, followed by national and state board exams and licensing requirements to become a Doctor of Chiropractic; Dr. Hetland has spent hundreds of additional hours attending advanced Gonstead Seminars to help perfect his application of chiropractic within the Gonstead System.RH was found in 2010 by Dr. Ryan Hetland. Dr. Hetland is specialty trained in the Gonstead method of chiropractic, which fewer than 30 clinics in Minnesota specialize. The Gonstead chiropractic system was developed in 1923 by Dr. Clerence S. Gonstead. Instead of general "cracking of the back", the Gonstead System is very precise in application and great care is taken to adjust only the bones necessary to achieve improvement.

Dr. Gonstead trained seven chiropractors in this technique and they were given letters of permission to teach his technique. There are two organizations that a few of these Gonstead technique masters teach at; Gonstead Seminars and Gonstead Methodologies Institute. Dr. Hetland trained under these masters for 5 years before opening River Heights Health & Injury Clinic in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
