Dr. Meyer is a board-certified Family Physician and Iowa Native. He is licensed in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois & Wisconsin. Dr. Meyer received his medical degree from Des Moines University, completed his Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, and was the Chief of Family Medicine at Moody AFB in Valdosta, Georgia. While there, he deployed to the Middle East, providing routine and emergency medical care. He returned to Iowa in 2011, practicing Family Medicine in the greater Des Moines area.

In 2018, Dr. Meyer joined a medical practice in his hometown of Okoboji, Iowa. He is a strong advocate for treatment often consisting of vitamins, glutathione precursors and prescription medications such as Ivermectin.

In 2022, he launched the “Okoboji Wellness Clinic” (OWC), an Integrative Medical Clinic with Direct Provider Care, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Action often involves multiple complementary medical approaches and wellness therapies.
