Massaging since 2010, Benny has found his passion in providing Therapeutic Massage for people and athletes with chronic injuries. Armed with a degree in Recreational Therapy, he combines both forms of therapy to provide a well rounded and holistic approach to healing the body. Deaf/hohI started the Human's Mechanic after suffering from years of back pain with no discernible source. After trying chiropractors, pills, and swinging back and forth from healthy to injured for no reason, I discovered the longest lasting relief was from massage. Several years into providing care, I learned about the Longer Leg Length Inequality and why healthy people have pain. My focus has been Structural Bodywork and changing how people stand so that they no longer have pain.

Welcome to the Human's Mechanic. I use Structural Bodywork to address any type of issue you may have. Having experienced debilitating pain because of my own injuries, I have an excellent idea of where to find the root of your issues. It's not "spa" massage. It's therapeutic massage. The session is straight to the point and often focuses on the issue itself. Very rarely do we do a "full body massage."
Utilizing very focused deep tissue work, myofascial release and an intimate knowledge of the body, the massage will slowly unwind many issues that you have. It's intense as you can see by the reviews, but, effective and diminishes the pain by several levels to non existent. With a sense of humor and a great music selection, I ask questions to seek out why the pain remains. From those questions, you will get homework, so that you can continue healing your body with basic tools, adapt your work space to prevent work related injuries, and build self awareness of your systems.
I work on migraines, back issues, shoulder and neck pain, knee, hip an ankle issues and assist with plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Most of these issues have very simple culprits as the problem.

Benny is an exceptional technician that didn't waste my time using foo foo massage techniques. My issues were addressed during my session. Benny is a wonderful person and he truly cares to help relieve you from your pain / aches.
He listens you to understand your issues, walks you through the root causes of your problems, gives recommendations on things you can do to on your own to manage your pain, and gives you the best deep tissue massage you can get anywhere.
If you live in Tampa. St.pete, Clearwater or even Orlando area and have pain issues that you need help with or just need a deep tissue massage to relax, Benny is the person you have to visit!

Benny was AMAZING! He was exactly what I was looking for when it came to a DEEP tissue massage to help fix my issues at the root. He was very knowledgable about how each and every muscle works together and he explained to me exactly why I was having pain and what was causing it. He relieved so much of my pain and knots the same day then gave me exercises to do to continue to improve on it. I can't wait to be back!
Also note, these type of massages are not for everyone. This is DEEP tissue and corrective, if you are looking for a relaxing massage - this is not your place.

I cannot speak highly enough about Benny!! He is absolutely amazing and has significantly helped my husband! He has been struggling with neck pain and migraines for over a year. We’ve seen doctors, specialists, had imaging, tried acupuncture, PT and nothing really helped. I found Benny on yelp and read his reviews and thought this might be what we need! We’ve had 3 sessions so far and the change already has been amazing. No more pain meds or muscle relaxers since!! I’ve also had my first session today and felt great afterwards! I cannot recommend him enough. We look forward to our appointments with him!

Unique and effective approach to massage therapy. I went for lower back and neck pain that had been persisting for weeks. Benny asked me lots of thoughtful questions and discussed potential causes and prevention. He was able to isolate the root cause area. His entire massage was intentional and focused. I've had similar pains before and other massage therapists have a very vanilla approach that is marginally helpful.
Benny understands the structure of the body and is able to bring new techniques that are much more targeted. I left with a significant pain reduction that continued for days. I also left with tips on how to prevent reoccurrences and advice on how the structure of my body and repetitive motions I was doing that could be aggravating my situation. Excellent service. So fortunate he is not in an urban area to keep his prices accessible. Highly recommend!
