About
Karim Wassef Owner / Clinical Manager, DPT, CIMT Karim earned his Masters and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees in PT at Marymount University in 2004 and 2007. He is a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT). Karim has worked exclusively with outpatient orthopedic and sports injuries for the last 10 years. He has a postural-structural approach to treating all types of injuries of the spine and extremities.Sports and Orthopedic Therapy Services, LLC is owned and operated by physical therapists and has served the Washington area since 1987. Patients are provided with the best possible care using cutting edge approaches and techniques in individualized programs. All therapists are expertly trained through their school curriculum, continuing education, seminars at work and personal research. Therapists also routinely help each other so patients receive the benefit of the clinic's collective 67 years of experience. Our large fully equipped gym gives patients immediate access to equipment designed to optimize strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination. We are also a teaching facility responsible for training Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) from many mid-Atlantic universities. We offer FREE parking for all our patients.
