Dr. Lish and Dr. D went through a rigorous master's program, then TWO rigorous doctoral programs together. Over time spent studying for board exams, and collaborating on their doctoral theses, the two created a vision for an acupuncture company that would bring a new model to the industry. The ladies dedicated themselves to opening a clinic that was clean, light, and airy. A professional space with a team of support staff who truly love their job, and a team of providers who are passionate about research, patient care, and getting measurable results. They have attracted a team of individuals who inspire them to keep going and keep growing. Started in 2011 by two Doctors of Acupuncture, Solis has become well-known as a trusted resource for improving the health of members in our community.

Solis Acupuncture, founded in 2011 by Drs Uzes and Emmert, offers a unique service to our community. We have full reception and administrative staff, with appointments available at our Capitola and Scotts Valley offices in the evenings and on Saturdays. We work with most major insurance providers in the region, and offer a complimentary benefit check for all new patients- simply call to see if you have coverage! We have state-of the art facilities with everything our patients need to have a truly enjoyable experience with each visit. We have a staff of providers with the highest level of training and experience in sports injury, chronic pain, and orthopedics.
