Dr. Albert Reyes is originally from Los Angeles, California. He obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Cleveland University of Chiropractic and Health Sciences in Los Angeles. Upon graduation, Dr. Reyes completed an extended preceptorship at a prominent Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic in Santa Monica where he perfected cutting edge physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques. Following his preceptorship, he worked as an associate at a clinic in Beverly Hills, California where he worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons and pain management doctors. Dr. Reyes actively demonstrates the latest innovative techniques to rehabilitate the injured spine and extremities. He is certified in Shockwave therapy as well as in Sports Nutrition. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, he worked as a elementary school teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He now happily lives in Charleston with his wife and twin daughters.

Dr. Reyes has spent more than 12 years recognizing and diagnosing the hidden sources and patterns of pain (trigger point referral pain). Over the years he has developed an effective protocol to relieve patient's acute pain and, even in instances, help patients avoid more invasive treatments, surgical procedures and medication. We also offer Extracorporeal Shock-Wave Therapy (ESWT), a fast and gentle non-surgical method of reducing pain and tendinitis that fails to respond to injections, medication, or therapy. There are virtually no side effects with ESWT since no medication, surgery, injections, or anesthesia is involved.
