I hold a Masters degree and have had a distinguished career in higher education. In 2003, I received certification from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration and 2013, I was certified an advanced Rolfer after having undergone an additional rigorous program of study. I am also a Reiki Master and a Cranial Sacral Therapist.Since receiving my certification from the Rolf Institute in 2003, I have maintained a licensed Rolfing® practice in Baltimore. In 2013, I was certified an Advanced Rolfer.
Education and training
Rolfing® is a form of hands-on bodywork. It focuses on changing the body's structure through the direct manipulation of fascia, the network of soft tissue responsible for the body's alignment, balance, and integrity. By releasing restrictions in the fascia, tissues reclaim their natural elasticity, bones return to their correct positions, and freedom of movement is regained.
