I came in with lower back pain. I had the microdisectomy surgery and was still experiencing a great deal of tightness and pain. I couldn’t stand for more than a couple of minutes. I have been going to Novo for treatments and I never think about my back anymore. I am up to 1 treatment every 5 weeks for maintenance. This had been life changing.

I’m a 54 year old that wants to continue to work and play hard. Novo helps me a lot with my ambitions by keeping my body performing how I want it to. Treatment of minor issues and staying ahead of typical aging problems keep me way ahead of my peers. My health is my wealth and Dr King is worth the price.

I have felt with some upper back pain and the manual therapy and shock wave at Novo Soft Tissue has really helped me. Dr Scott King is knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend it.

I’ve been seeing Dr King since 2017 when I first sought help for 3 herniated disks in my back. I was locked up in extreme pain. My treatments are a testament to his wealth of knowledge and capabilities. I actually felt progress after the initial treatment. I went from using a cane to trail running and enjoying life again. I’ll continue to see him as needed for maintenance. Highly recommend for anyone that is either in pain or pushing their body’s limits outdoors.

I went to Novo two years ago. (I’m sure they will respond to this review saying something like “we don’t have records of you” - so ignore what they eventually reply below this) Was given consultation and plan that seemed like a very blanket response. Went ahead and tried it.
During each session every question I was asked was extremely broad, then when I gave even a partial response, it was like I would get a preselected reasoning for my pain. No form of proper clinical hypotheses were formed for my symptoms - only pattern matching.
During third session Scott did shock therapy on my neck. I expressed how important it was that I didn’t have any long term effects from this therapy. He assured me that I wouldn’t. Now two years later I still have tinnitus in both of my ears. I have not had a single moment of silence since. I’ve worked with my primary care doctor and several ENT doctors to find any relief. After several thousand dollars, I’ve been told that I’ll probably have to live with this the rest of my life. I can only hope it will slowly get better or diminish.
After a simple Google search right after the shockwave therapy session I found this is a pretty common issue when using shockwave therapy on someone’s neck. Several Reddit threads and YouTube videos talking about people advising you do NOT use that form of therapy near your head or neck. Even talking with my primary and ENT doctors they were all shocked to hear about my experience, saying this small practice seems very questionable.
I reported my issues to the Novo front desk several days after the tinnitus and again after several weeks. They never asked if I was okay or expressed any form of empathy for this very unpleasant experience. They only asked me to report right away if I went to a doctor (seemed like they were trying to cover themselves)
I am completely unsure how this facility has 4.9 stars on Google, I would encourage everyone to avoid it if possible.
