North Fork Orthopedic & Sports Medicine

I specialize in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine surgery with specific focus on the knee and shoulder. My training under elite surgeons has allowed me to perform top of the line ligament (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL, ALL, MPFL) reconstructions with performance based and personalized graft selection. I perform meniscus repair over debridement whenever possible including root (attachment site) repair with minimally invasive techniques. We offer cartilage, osteochondral and meniscus transplants in the appropriately selected patients. Due to patient request, I also perform primary total knee replacements. I have comprehensive and specialized shoulder training in all aspects including sports medicine, anatomic and reverse shoulder replacements and revisions as well as fracture fixation. This includes but is not limited to arthroscopic labral repair, AC joint reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, capsular reconstruction, open bony stabilization and proximal humerus fractures. We also provide fracture treatment, general orthopaedic care, arthritis management from anti-inflammatories, coordinating physical therapy, ultrasound guided corticosteroid and Hyaluronic Acid "gel" injections and shoulder, knee and hip replacements. As a location of Stony Brook Medicine's Center for Musculoskeletal Health, we have access to many other specialists including Hand, Spine, Foot & Ankle, Rheumatology, Pain Management, and knee replacement surgeons when needed.
