Dr. Michelle Nowakowski graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001 and opened her first specialty NUCCA Chiropractic clinic with her sister in 2002. She's one of only 21 Board Certified NUCCA doctors in the world.Moving to Colorado Springs in 2013, Life Enhancing Chiropractic was established in 2015. Prior to this Dr. Nowakowski was co-owner of Spine Wellness Center in Las Vegas Nevada.

I can’t recommend Dr.Shelly enough. Earlier this year, I threw my back out and was in a lot of pain and discomfort. She took the time to really listen, thoroughly assess what was going on, and explain everything in a way that made me feel confident and at ease.
Her care was thoughtful, precise, and incredibly effective. Not only did she help relieve my pain, but she also helped me understand what was happening with my body and how to prevent it from happening again. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and takes pride in providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

I've been under Dr. Shelly's care for about three years now and I'm so glad I found her! The technique (upper cervical) is the only chiropractic method that works for me – and all my pain was in my lower, lumbar spine. I am able to stand upright now and exercise again. Dr. Shelly has changed my life, actually given my life back to me. This chiropractic technique is GENTLE too. No more twisting my body in knots or cracking sounds. It's truly amazing, miraculous, IMO. Dr. Shelly is thoughtful, professional and personable. Above all, she is just plain expert at what she does. It is obvious she cares about me – as a patient and a person. I'm truly grateful for Dr. Shelly and the excellent care she gives me.

I had temporary structural scoliosis that came with a lot of insomnia. Dr. Shelly, along with a cloth brace recommended by a different doctor, helped me to build the stamina to eventually stay out of the brace for good. My sleep has improved drastically and, medically speaking, my life has not just been enhanced, but truly changed. Thank you Dr. Shelly!
