About
Dr. Ryan McGaughey, 37, is a chiropractic doctor and founder of McGaughey Chiropractic in Atascadero. Dr. McGaughey, who grew up in Atascadero before leaving for 12 years to pursue degrees at UC Davis and the Palmer College of Chiropractics in San Jose, has recently begun specializing in women's health issues, specifically hypothyroidism, fibromyalgia, and migraines. He created a women's health symposium in North County to address the topics he saw his patients were concerned about and brought in guest speakers, as well as other health care providers, to promote the event. He also helped create a chiropractic group called 33DCS, which encourages local chiropractors to improve their practices and the lives of their patients. Outside of his practice, McGaughey is a Board member of both the California Chiropractic Association and the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and is a Committee member with the North County Young Professionals.
