About
Dr. Heather Rassel owns, operates, and sees patients at JOVIA Wellness. She chose chiropractic as her profession in 1994 and started her education. Chiropractic was more of a "way of life" in her family (with the philosophy that health and wellness come from the inside-out and honoring the inborn intelligence of the body) since her parents, Drs. Ed and Linda Rassel, of East Lansing and Okemos, were both chiropractors. The chiropractic lifestyle, and therefore profession, spread through Dr. Rassel's extended family. Two of her sisters, her aunt, several uncles, cousins, and her niece are all chiropractors as well. Counting all the extended family members (through marriage too) there are approximately 30 chiropractors in Dr. Rassel's family!
