About

On September 18, 1995, on the day of the 100 Year Anniversary of the Chiropractic profession, my family and I opened the doors to our practice of Chiropractic. The day was very significant for my family as it was the culmination of 10 years of education to earn a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Since then I have served Southeastern North Carolina with pride committing myself to providing exceptional quality Chiropractic healthcare.

In order to start to solve your health problem we must first understand it. Over the past 24 years of caring for patients I have used advanced diagnostic laser aligned x-ray and use advanced infrared thermographic technology to define your condition. Understanding the cause of your health problem is my first priority. Once we understand your condition we can get to work to try and solve or improve your life and health.

Chiropractic healthcare is built on the foundation that Innate Intelligence flows over and through the Nervous System and controls and coordinates all functions of the body. If there is Subluxation (interference to the transmission of mental impulses) then the body will be in a state of dis-ease (Lack of Ease), which left unchecked will lead to disease.

Chiropractic proposes that restoring full capacity of quantity flow of mental impulses through correction of and removal of subluxation can optimize your return to health. Chiropractors, through advanced education and training, are uniquely qualified to care for these conditions.

In order to serve our community at an even greater capacity, four exceptional doctors have joined our practice and we have moved into our new office. We are so thrilled to be able to continue our journey in Wilmington and hope you will join us!

Healing hands is a great chiropractic office . The care that Dr Gowing gives is heartfelt and he is easy to talk to and he does his very best to help the situation. I have been hurting for a long time due to lower back /neck issues and Dr Grant has taken me from not being able to move without pain to living life a lot better now . The staff are also very friendly and accommodating to your needs . Thank you to a wonderful office !

Dr Greg Demetrious is an amazing Dr. I am a RNP and his knowledge base is incredible. I have had MS for 25 yrs. I have horrible muscle spasms in my back and neck. Some days I couldnt stand up straight at all. I have had 3 adjustments and I have 70% less pain in my neck now. I cant believe it. I have been like this for 25 yrs. To relieve 70% of my neck pain is life altering for me. I highly recommend Dr Greg Demetrious. There is no one better!

I love everything about this faimly owned and operated office! Everyone is so welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. Dr. Daniel Hanson is awesome! I originally came to him because I was suffering from low back pain and headaches. After a few adjustments I no longer have low back pain and headaches are not nearly as intense or frequent. Not only does he address my concerns, but he also removes any interferences that could have caused issues later on. Highly recommend!

Had some deep rooted issues in my sacrum and lower back that was EXTREMELY painful. Dr Gallion helped reverse the pain and take it from a 11/10 down to a 3/10 after just three adjustments!!! Couldn’t let this go without giving them a well deserved excellent job / review!! Greatly looking forward to the future of feeling better and better!
