I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with my husband’s experience as a new patient. Based on the “New Patient Special” promotion, we understood the $75 fee to cover the full two-part appointment related to his care.
At the second visit, he was unexpectedly charged an additional $65 — something that was never clearly explained upfront. That appointment lasted close to an hour, the majority of which consisted of a sales pitch. Only about five minutes were spent on actual “adjustments,” and those did not address his specific areas of need.
Had it been made clear that additional charges would apply immediately at the second visit — and that the visit would primarily be sales-focused rather than treatment-focused — we would not have proceeded. The wording of this promotion is misleading, and the experience felt like a waste of both our time and money.
Don’t waste your time/money.

Gig Harbor Chiropractic has been a joy! They provide a good balance of education without overdoing it. I’ve had persistent back pain over the years and after a few appointments the pain started fading and has now entirely disappeared. I wish I went here sooner!

During my third trimester of pregnancy I started to really suffer with pelvic/hip pain and was really worried about spending another 5-6 weeks struggling with pretty much any movement. I went in for an initial consultation where I provided my insurance information, explained my symptoms and was checked over by one of the Doctors (this appointment would usually also include an X-ray but mine didn’t due to pregnancy). My next appointment was booked for a couple of days later where my insurance/payment options were thoroughly explained and I had my first adjustment. I’ll be honest I walked out of the appointment thinking there was no way that what seemed to me like completely minimal treatment was going to make any difference… I was so wrong! By the end of the day my pain was significantly lower and I even managed a decent nights sleep! I had my second adjustment today and I just can’t believe the improvement! I’ll be sticking to the recommended treatment plan between now and the end of my pregnancy, and I’ll be sure to return as soon as I’m able to.
All of the staff and doctors have been so kind and welcoming, seeking feedback and encouraging me to ask any questions that I may have. I couldn’t recommend this facility enough!

The office was nice, but I would not recommend going here. The front desk was given my insurance beforehand but on arrival I was told they were not in-network so it wouldn't be covered. Oh well, I went ahead anyway because my back was in pain and I needed massage. I told the massage therapist my problem areas and asked her to focus on my upper back. Well, focus she did - only one motion on my upper back the entire session. Seriously. She just kept crunching my muscles over my shoulder blades repeatedly. I know, I know... I should have spoken up, but I kept thinking "she'll change any minute now" and then it went on for so long I felt silly saying something. That's on me. But she never once checked in and just didn't seem like she was trying to actually help improve my back pain. I switched to Emily at Valerie's Gig Harbor Massage Group and couldn't be happier.

I have been going to Gig Harbor Chiropractic & Massage for years for massage therapy. For my last scheduled massage I woke up sick and so I called the office and they told me that I would not be charged the cancellation fee since I was sick. I just got a bill in the mail for a $90 cancellation fee. I called and the woman who identified herself as the office manager said there is nothing they can do even though I was lied to, and she admitted I was lied to. I understand cancellation fees and would not be upset about that if I had known, but the fact that they are fine lying to their customers has made me an ex-customer. Her excuse was that they can't do anything to help since I didn't know who I spoke to. Unfortunately, being a trusting customer and not writing down the name of the person who gave me false information has cast me $90.
