I suffered for years with neck and shoulder pain, migraines, and jaw pain. Recently, my symptoms worsened with rapid heart rate and fainting spells that seriously affected my daily life. I felt confused and hopeless. A TMJ/orofacial pain specialist eventually referred me to Dr. James Strunk to evaluate my jaw pain. Dr. Strunk found the real cause: a misalignment in my C1 vertebra and an old injury near C5/C6. After a couple of months of treatment, I started feeling much better—I could stand, walk, and think more clearly, and mainly the fainting episodes were almost gone. After being homebound for over three years, I finally had hope again. Dr. Strunk pinpointed exactly where my pain was coming from, explained how it affected my balance, and helped me understand symptoms like vertigo and anxiety caused by this C1 misalignment and cerebrospinal fluid/toxin buildup—things I had trouble explaining for years. Dr. Strunk’s expertise is exceptional, and I’m so grateful to have found him. When I started with Dr. Strunk, I was having a headache every day for the last five years. After seeing him several times the headaches have lifted. I still have them but not every day. For anyone dealing with chronic dizziness I would suggest giving this place a chance. I’ve dealt with near constant dizziness for 3 years accompanied with daily migraines. I’ve been to countless different types of doctors and tried all sorts of medication. I found some relief but very little. I stumbled upon the fact that upper cervical issues can cause dizziness and figured I would give it a try. I’m glad I did. I am only 2 months into getting adjustments here and I have felt the best I have in 3 years. I still have my bad days here and there but they are not near as bad as they were before and that’s all I can ask for.

I took my almost 18 year old daughter to see Dr. Strunk for migraines. She had been getting them with increasing frequency over the past year and a half and when we went to see him, she had been having some form a headache, usually turning into a migraine, for two weeks straight. We had tried other chiropractors, her pediatrician and I had scheduled an appointment with a neurologist as well. Before I was able to get her into see the neurologist, Dr. Strunk was able to fit her into his schedule. He took x-rays of her neck and head (something a previous chiropractor had never done) and we were able to see clearly that she was very much out of alignment. After one very gentle adjustment, about a month ago, she has not had a migraine or even a headache since. Dr. Strunk has also been diligent in following up with her to ensure she is still in alignment and has not had any more headaches. As a mom who just wanted her child to feel better and be able to participate in life, especially going off to college in the fall, I don't have the words to describe how thankful I am. I would 1000% recommend Dr. Strunk to anyone having chronic headaches or migraines and wish I would have taken my daughter to see him sooner.
