Beret is a certified yoga teacher, a RRCA certified running coach and has logged over 3000+ hours of Orthopedic Canadian education towards Massage Therapy and Rehab, the New York State standard is 1000 to only massage. A native to the tri state area, Beret earned her degree in Orthopedic/Rehabilitation massage in Ontario Canada. In addition to the New York standards, Beret completed 2 years of full time intensive study in Orthopedic Massage, Assessment and Fascia Manipulation. As part of her massage graduation requirement, she completed internships at a Parkinson's clinic, an AIDS hospice, and a Naturopathic doctor's office. In her first post-graduation years, she practiced at a Medical Massage clinic, specializing in automobile accident and workman's compensation patients. Beret has logged over 3000+ hours of Orthopedic Canadian education towards Massage Therapy and Medical Massage, the New York State standard is 1000. She believes passionately in her work and its effectiveness.Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage is a science based massage practice using pain free range of motion as its guide. Body Mechanics Massage is a lot more that an average massage therapy experience. We specialize in sports massage, Medical Massage, TMJ, Pre-natal massage, post-natal massage, runners massage, and relaxation. All this is done in a one of a kind spa space while giving a real therapy treatment. All clients given a full assessment. And we have taken a stand for fair pay for therapists and quality treatment (we book 30 min between massage appointments so you are never rushed)

Education and training
Serious massage therapy, for serious solutions. Specializing in science based sports massage, prenatal massage, post-mastectomy & TMJ intraoral massage, we are luxury clinic in Midtown NYC, practicing Orthopedic Massage and Acupuncture. We also feature a massage program for runners,Tmj and post mastectomy. Our environment looks like a unique spa, but what we do inside is real therapy. We specialize in working with injury/pain. Each one of our massage therapists, is not only a massage therapist, but also a teacher, personal trainer or has skills above and beyond what New York state requires. Patients are assessed using the same science based screen as other health professionals, so we know we are doing more than rubbing where the pain is. We use Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Movement, PNF stretching, Muscle Activation and home care exercises to achieve the best possible results. New York state does not actually teach massage therapists how to work with injury ( the program here although medical is geared to general Swedish massage.) The reason our massage program works the way it does, is that the owner of the clinic obtained her degree in Ontario, where massage is a full medical practice that treats in a rehab context. What you will not get here is a massage therapist going through the motions or a rote sports massage or medical massage. We are proud to be a science based company. CoCo did an amazing job attending to the tension in my shoulders and some soreness in my lower back and glutes - they listened attentively during our initial consultation and then managed to find and work through a bunch of knots I hadn’t even realised were as bad as they were, checking whether I was in any discomfort when particularly deep pressure was required. They made me feel instantly comfortable and like I was in safe hands - I’m already thinking about booking another massage with them again soon!

Chasi is absolutely the best! I went in for a lymphatic drainage massage, and she took her time to explain the process for my understanding. Throughout my body, I felt so calm and relaxed. I am definitely interested in going back for more sessions. Also, she is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays!
