Marc P. Pietropaoli, MD is recognized as one of the leading sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons in Upstate New York. Dr. Pietropaoli completed his undergraduate training at Syracuse University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors of science in Biology. He then graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of his medical school class at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Syracuse (now Upstate Medical University). His Orthopedic Surgery Residency program was also completed at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, followed by a Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama (www.asmi.org) under the direction of world-renowned sports medicine physicians James R. Andrews, M.D. and William G. Clancy, M.D. Dr. Pietropaoli is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.Founded on April 2, 2001 by current president Marc P. Pietropaoli, MD, Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has been at its current location at 791 W. Genesee St. in Skaneateles, New York since its inception. During its 11+ year history, Victory Sports Medicine has expanded to include a world class orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine providers, a state of the art digital X-Ray machine, Open MRI, physical therapy, massage therapy, an orthotics & bracing shop, injury prevention programs, strength & condition and sideline medical coverage for many athletic programs and events and much more.
