About

Dr. Tyler Gatteau has been committed to health and happiness for as long as he can remember. A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, Dr. Gatteau earned his Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. After spending time in the US Marine Corps soon after, he switched gears and decided to serve his community through alternative health and medicine. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree through Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California. At Life Chiropractic College West, Dr. Gatteau was awarded the "Clinical Excellence Award", a prestigious and difficult award only offered to a select two per year. His desire to connect with and heal patients is an easily detectable trait. Dr Gatteau has recently become part of the Windsor Severance Fire Rescue team as a volunteer fireman and looks forward to serving his community there as well.Dr. Gatteau moved to his native Fort Collins, CO in the Fall of 2008. Now with 3 daughters, he has since opened The Human Health Place, with a desire to offer his extensive knowledge around physiology and human anatomy to his neighboring communities. He works daily with groups of all ages, including professional athletes and any other patients with pain and chronic pain. He looks forward to serving you and your health needs by integrating the Chiropractic adjustment with massage, stretching, and strengthening of the stabilization muscle groups in order to create the perfect balance of wellness care.

Education and training
I am proud to offer the integration of Muscle Body Work, Chiropractic Adjustments, and Physical Therapy for every patient that comes in. This happens at every single visit. Because of the extra work I put in at each visit, the average number of visits till a patient is feeling 90-100% better is only an average of 5 visits over a 2 month span of time. Not 3 times a week for 3 weeks, etc. like you will hear from many others. I do not want to waste anyone's money. If you only want one appt, that is no problem as well. Either way, you will have the knowledge of what is going on with your body when you leave and the ways to fix it on your own. If you have experienced someone who says you need thousands of dollars in care and visits multiple times a week for many weeks, please get a second opinion from someone. Since 2009, my visit average has been 5 for each patient I have seen in order to get them to feeling better. If we do not make changes in a few visits, we will readdress your care plan. Again, I pride myself on being a doctor who spends 25-45 minutes with each patient. I don't have any staff, so I do all the work myself. I start with looking at the muscle function. Next, I concentrate on fixing the bio-mechanics of the joints. Finally I use stretches and exercises to adhere the changes that were just made earlier. Then you get homework to keep the ball rolling and not loose momentum. FYI. It is best to call or text my office, not send request via Yelp.
