Dr. Lou Schimmel is a graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia and earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While completing his externship at Life University, Dr. Lou provided chiropractic care to many professional and amateur athletes in the Atlanta area. As a former collegiate All-American and professional cyclist, Dr. Lou continues his love of athletics by competing on New Jersey's top ranked cycling team along with caring for many athletes in the area. "I have a passion for sports and helping athletes reach their full potential," says Dr. Lou, "but the most rewarding part of practice is seeing an entire family's life and health improve under chiropractic care." Dr. Lou also knows the value of teaching the next generation about self care.
