About

Dr. David Cox is a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic having completed his Doctorate program in 1982. He began practicing in California and then relocated to Sandpoint, Idaho where he and his wife raised their family and worked in their own clinic. Together with Patty, they started Sound Health Chiropractic in Anacortes in June of 2009. Dr. Cox is enthusiastic about providing practical solutions to his patients, and seeks to educate each individual so that they not only understand their condition but they also participate in their treatment process with home exercises and changes in lifestyle habits. In his spare time, Dr. Cox enjoys boating with his wife, grandkids, and his black dog, Nico.Dr. Cox opened his chiropractic office here in Anacortes after practicing in Sandpoint, Idaho for 15 years.

Our approach is to assess and treat the spine and all other musculoskeletal areas as we find that the feet, knees, hips, rib cage, hands, elbows and shoulders can contribute to the cause of pain. We focus on restoring proper joint position and muscle tone.
