Dr. Charno graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1987. He has advanced training in an instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation technique called Graston Technique™ and is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist. Dr. Charno is a certified FAKTR practitioner and he has completed extensive continuing education in nutrition, stress management, exercise, movement assessment and functional rehabilitation. He is also an active member of Rehabilitation to Performance (R2P), a community of change-makers with a shared goal of solving the burgeoning health care crisis associated with the widespread physical inactivity epidemic.

Dr. Charno has literally gotten me through months of quarantine. His online strength training classes have me stronger and healthier than I was six months ago. When it became possible, I began seeing him in his office and found a comprehensive and holistic approach to chiropractic. His treatment is state of the art and includes specific exercises to reinforce the adjustment. He always follows up with online exercise reminder videos. Bottom line is that Dr. Charno is a caring, effective, healer. Recently, I began having Vertigo. It was going on for two weeks. The room was literally spinning. I told Dr. Charno about this and he performed an Epley maneuver on me and the spinning stopped and the Vertigo resolved. It felt like a miracle. What it was, in reality, was a competent caring healer who knew what to do in this situation. I am so grateful.

I sustained an injury while training for the NYC Half Marathon and Dr Charno came to my rescue. He treated me and provided me with at-home exercises that enabled me to heal, continue training and complete the race!!! I have full confidence in Dr Charno and recommend him to athletes and anyone that needs to recover quickly and get back to activities they love.
