About

Owner of Release Physical Therapy, Dr. Simon received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from University of Hartford after graduating from Syracuse University with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science & Physiology/Pre-physical Therapy. A former All New England and All State soccer player, Dr. Simon was part of the U.S. Women's Soccer National Team pool, but ultimately decided to redirect her career in pursuit of her true passion: care. Dr. Simon treats a multitude of patients and their problems including pediatrics, geriatrics, bariatrics, post-op, chronic pain, repetitive stress injury, and elite athletes. Driven by her desire to help patients meet their physical goals and gain or regain functional capacity, Dr. Simon's treatment approach combines manual mobilization and manipulation techniques with individualized therapeutic exercise. She is a full body Active Release Techniques® (ART) provider.
