Dr. Cheri Markos

If I could give ten stars, I would. Dr. Markos at NorthCity Chiropractic gave me my life back, twice. When I suffered from debilitating migraines that stemmed from TMJ, my dentist referred me to Dr. Markos. Within a few months I was off pain meds and sleeping again. I was able to play with my kids and do all the mom-jobs I’d been missing out on because I was in constant pain for so long. Years later, I was struggling to sleep and live life at the level of quality I wanted. My body was a wreck. This time I was having acute nerve pain from the mastectomy I had years before. My whole right side, neck, shoulder, chest and arm were affected. Dr. Markos knew exactly how to treat me. Within a few month, once again, I regained the ability to use my body as I needed to. I was able to sleep through the night, be physically active, work, clean and cook again. I had my body and my life again. Dr. Markos is amazing! She is the most knowledgeable, well- educated and highly skilled doctor I have ever met. I said “doctor” and not “chiropractor”, because I believe she is capable of treating almost any injury or illness (within the physical realm), in existence. I’ve seen other chiropractors in the past. They all pale in comparison to what Dr. Markos can achieve. If you are in pain or can’t do the things you need and want to do because your body isn’t working for you, go see Dr. Markos. If your body is not serving you and you find yourself limited by pain, range of motion or difficulty moving in any way, I highly recommend you visit Dr. Markos. You will be glad you did. She has an exceptional understanding of how the human body works, and the tools and skills to get you living again. Quite simply, and honestly, I would be miserable without her. If you want your quality of life back, go see Dr. Markos. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to see Dr. Markos for over 20 years for a variety of issues and I always come away feeling so much better! I cannot recommend her more highly than absolutely superb! Dr. Markos always finds the problem, even when that part doesn't hurt she knows how things are connected and has an intuitive sense in treatment that is totally mind blowing! I also appreciate how Dr. Markos continues to keep her over head low so charges are very affordable. I saw a snarky review about the reception area and disagree as the chairs are very comfortable for those who find it difficult to sit at all! And even if there is any wait time I have no issue with that having been on the receiving end of Dr. Markos taking the time to help me in the past, she is the best!!

So, I first saw Dr. Markos after my daughter was born because my hip would give out. I had seen two other physicians that had not been able to help. After about 4 visits I was much improved. Since then I have been in a car accident, had an industrial injury claim, and a terrible fall that she treated me for. I achieve a full recover from all! Dr. Markos care has changed my life for the better over and over! I don't know what I would do without her. They always walk you through the complicated paperwork of what ever insurance you present with!
