Dr. Ericka Craft Mizuta, DPT, physical therapist attended Virginia Commonwealth University and the Medical College of Virginia. She graduated with honors and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. During her residency years, Dr. Mizuta worked in prestigious institutions such as Stanford University, the Medical College of Virginia, as well as the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Mizuta has over 20,000 of experience in outpatient orthopedic care. Continuing education is a large part in the treatment of physical therapy patients. Dr. Mizuta has striven to stay current with the recent research in her field. She has taken continuing education courses in vestibular rehabilitation, orthotic fabrication, functional rehabilitation, as well as spinal rehabilitation.Mizuta & Associates Physical Therapy was established by Dr. Ericka Craft Mizuta, DPT, physical therapist in 2009. After years of working with orthopedic patients, Dr. Mizuta, DPT had a desire to open a clinic where patients would receive direct one on one quality care that surpasses all other clinics. Out of this dream, Mizuta & Associates was formed and opened. In 2017 Mizuta PT changed it's business model and switched to a mobile physical therapy clinic. Mizuta PT provides outpatient therapy services at client's homes, workplaces, gyms, and schools allowing our therapists to work with clients on skills right where they need them.

Mizuta & Associates Physical Therapy is a mobile physical therapy clinic servicing most of San Diego. We operate like a regular physical therapy clinic, but with one significant difference: we bring the therapy to you! Unlike other clinics in San Diego, Mizuta & Associates prides itself on offering expert care, one one, with a physical therapist for a full hour. Patients are not treated by aides or techs. Mizuta & Associates PT treats a variety of orthopedic problems ranging from the neck and back, shoulder, hip, knee, pelvis, vestibular, as well as foot and ankle. For our patients that prefer an office or gym setting, we have gone away from one large clinic in the Mission Valley area and have expanded our service area by having multiple satellite offices. Our satellite offices are in Serra Mesa (Mission Valley area), La Jolla, Poway, and Little Italy. Mizuta PT verifies the insurance benefits to let the patient know the financial responsibility before scheduling. We send notes to the referring provider to keep him or her updated with patient progress. We accept Medicare, All PPO insurance, Work Comp, VA (Triwest), and Tricare.
