About
After graduating from Texas Chiropractic School, Dr. Heintz went on to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. Dr. Heintz has completed clinical rotations in neurosurgery and orthopedics, which allows him to better communicate with surgeons if the need arises. He has used this knowledge to help athletes for LSU track, National Masters Weightlifting Championships, the Texas Independence Relay, as well as being a former professor at Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Heintz is currently the treating chiropractor for the Houston Dynamo soccer team. He utilizes the knowledge gained from sports seminars and teaching to provide the most current, evidence based treatments available for his patients. He is a certified provider of a number of sport injury methodologies including KinesioTaping and FAKTR. He is a 2014 graduate of the Whiplash and Brain Traumatology program taught by the Spine Institute of San Diego.League City Chiropractic and Sports Medicine was formed when Dr. Jay Hientz and Dr. Brian Sansalone purchased Benson Chiropractic from Dr. George Benson in 2006. Prior to that time, Dr. Heintz had practiced in New Orleans Louisiana. In 2019 we formed League City Spine and Sports Medicine to add medical care to our clinic. We now have four chiropractors and two nurse practitioners providing a variety of treatment options for our patients.
