She will tailor make your treatment plan to suit your individuality and not just treat the symptoms. Dr. Abbie utilizes several different chiropractic techniques that range in physicality. Together you will discuss which approach to healing is best for you and your situation. Chiropractic techniques that Dr. Abbie is trained in include Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, SOT, Cox Flexion Distraction, and a gentle touch technique called Toftness. You may also take advantage of Dr. Abbie's extensive knowledge of Nutritional Supplementation to seek a more natural approach to common health issues.Dr. Abbie L. Kunkel, D.C. is a local to the area as she grew up in Kempton and graduated from Kutztown Area High School. She began her pursuit of higher education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Dr. Abbie earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and then decided to further her education and study chiropractic due to her own personal experiences with chiropractic care. After attending Life University in Marietta, Georgia for two years, she transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2004. Her first position as a chiropractor was with University Injury Center in Philadelphia, PA and then was an associate doctor at Kulp Family Chiropractic for 2 years in Reading, PA. In December of 2007, Dr. Abbie started Kutztown Family Chiropractic and has been blessed to be able to serve the community in which grew up.
