Chiropractor Howie was born in Iowa where he attended both the University of Iowa and Palmer College of Chiropractic; receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa in 1998 and his doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2002. After graduation Chiropractor Howie moved to Mississippi. After working to develop the principles of running a successful practice he opened his own office in Tupelo, MS at the beginning of 2008. Chiropractor Howie has advanced training in Chiropractic philosophy and the art of the Chiropractic adjustment. He teaches other Chiropractors across the country how to adjust, when to adjust and why to adjust. He has lectured at various schools on the principles of running a successful practice based upon the philosophy of Chiropractic. He helps guide other Chiropractors in how to run their own offices based on the philosophy.

The objective of Chiropractic, in this facility, is to restore and maintain the integrity of the relationship between the spinal cord and its nerve roots. These vital nerve pathways are housed in and protected by the bones of the spine called vertebrae. Tiny misalignments of the vertebrae or bones of the spine will interfere with the function of these nerve pathways. This nerve interference is called Spinal Subluxation. Spinal Subluxation happens when the everyday stresses of everyday life overcome the natural adaptability of the body and prevent various organs, glands, tissues and cells from functioning as properly as they should. With enough nerve interference, the body will not function as it was designed to, and the quality of a person's life will suffer.
