About
Dr. Wolin is the director and founder of the Center for Athletic Medicine, Ltd. Founded in 1991, the Center provides multispecialty care to every level of athlete from child through professional. Dr. Wolin earned his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois and completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical Center. He completed two fellowships: one in Sports Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard University and another in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at Newton-Wesley Hospital/Tufts University. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons with specialization in the shoulder, knee, ankle, and elbow. He is also subspecialty certified in Sports Medicine. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Director of the Sportsmedicine Fellowship. Dr. Wolin also serves as team doctor for numerous athletic teams.The Center for Athletic Medicine, Ltd. provides comprehensive Sports Medicine care and has established itself as a leader in Workman's Compensation. The Center for Athletic Medicine's goal is to return a patient to work, sport, and a healthy way of life. Directed by Preston M. Wolin, MD the Center for Athletic Medicine, Ltd prides itself on the time that each patient gets with our specialists; which includes doctors in Sports Psychology, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. State of the art technology is available to the injured individual. To aid in diagnosis and treatment, the Center for Athletic Medicine, Ltd also provides on site physical therapy as well as x-ray. This includes both surgical and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal injuries related to sports, recreation, and work injuries. Our goal is an aggressive approach to rehabilitation which enables our patients to return to activities safely and quickly.
