About

Born in Henryetta Oklahoma, raised on the move, my father worked in oil so we transferred regularly. I have lived in Oklahoma, Kansas, Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, and Texas. Married to my wonderful soul mate Richard, I am truly blessed! I have two daughters, Jennifer is currently enrolled at Parker and will be joining the practice in 2 years. Amanda is a newlywed and is settling into married life.I was working in the oil industry in North Dakota and took a nap on a Sunday afternoon. When I woke up I told my husband I was going to be a chiropractor. Obviously someone much bigger than me decided what I should do. I did my undergrad studies at the University of North Dakota, Williston branch driving 130 mile round trip every day for 3 years. I then moved my family to Texas to attend Parker University (Chiropractic College) in Dallas. I attended Parker and obtained by Doctor of Chiropractic degree in September of 2002. I opened my practice on October 15, 2002. I was born in Oklahoma so coming South was like coming home for me!

Education and training
The brain and spinal cord communicate with every cell, tissue and organ in the body. The brain is protected by the skull and the spinal cord by the vertebral column. When your vertebra are mis-aligned due to trauma, toxins, and thoughts (stress) your body cannot communicate properly. I find what is mis-aligned (subluxated) and return it to proper alignment so your body can function the way it was meant to - self healing. I work on removing scar tissue adheisions, acute injuries, and chronic joint (including hands and feet) problems using Graston technique. This is tool assisted myofascial release. Great on plantar fascitis and carpal tunnel as well as sprained ankles and injured shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. I have had extensive training in the technique and would love to help you get your body back. I also do acupuncture and Body Restoration Techniques for multiple problems.
