About

I am originally from Cortland, Ohio where I attended Lakeview High school being a three sport athlete; participating in baseball, basketball and soccer. I also attended Slippery Rock University in western Pennsylvania on an athletic scholarship. I completed my studies there with a major in Exercise and Rehabilitative Sciences. After graduating from Slippery Rock; I went on to play professional baseball in the Frontier League for the Washington Wild Things. Once I retired from baseball; I moved to Marietta, GA to attend the chiropractic school at Life University. I graduated from Life in March 2012 and moved back to Ohio to work for my father, Dr. Albert A. Butch in Ravenna. Not only is he my father but he is also my mentor; celebrating his 35th year in the chiropractic profession. I was also lucky to have my mother, Maria Butch, also work in office with us. Being mentored and trained at home with my family and our close staff; Joy Sutterluety and Valerie Green, it was the best start

I would have another heart attack if it meant receiving Dr. Butch's care. I have been to a specialized physician, the ER, and 6 different chiropractors over the last 5 years, totaling over 75 visits, and Dr. Butch did in one minute what no one else could do in 5 years. Every night when I laid down, my heart would jump to 180bpm and my left arm would throb as my head grew lighter and air became harder to breathe. It was like this for 2 years, and many weeks I would go multiple days without sleeping. Over time the issue became more sporadic so I just learned to put up with it every now and then. But, after moving to Villa Rica and having an episode, I figured I'd give another chiropractor a shot. I emailed Dr. Butch 3 hours before they opened and he responded almost immediately with their first time slot. Thanks to Dr. Butch, a sleepless night was the best thing that's happened to me in years.

I live in Fayetteville and drive out on Fridays to see Dr. Butch. I tried finding another practice closer to home but there’s no one like him. He’s personable and fast, doesn’t waste your time but takes the time needed. Marissa at the front is wonderful and sweet, knows her stuff and I can’t forget little Miss Basil, the therapy dog. She’s the peacemaker of the waiting room, taking care of everyone too.
