I had a whiplash injury with severe post concussion syndrome 4 years ago. I had neck pain, headaches, muscle pain for 4 years straight with very little relief from regular doctors and imaging. It was after visiting a chiropractor and getting a diagnosis of craniocervical syndrome that I researched the condition and came across Arete Chiropractics video on this syndrome and their specialized Cone Beam CT imaging for the neck ( cervical spine). The imaging gives images that typical imaging doesn’t give you, clear 3D imaging of the bones. I knew based on the videos and what they were describing that I had all the symptoms associated with this condition. I have only been going a few months and the imaging and gentle adjustment s has completely changed my life! I went from barely getting through my work day, doing nothing at home and sobbing in pain every day for FOUR YEARS! I am so thankful to Arete Chiropractic, Dr. Evans and every member of the team! I’m finally starting to live life again and no longer cry every day! I highly recommend this service. If you have have a head injury and concussion it is always worth seeing an upper cervical chiropractor, the earlier the better. Had I known this care existed I could have healed much quicker, much earlier.

I started treatment at Arete in August with Dr Tiffany Dauphinais. After a thorough analysis of my neck and spine - including advanced imaging - Dr Dauphinais reviewed her plan for my treatment in great detail, including short-term goals and an overall objective to correct the inconsistencies in my neck and back. I worked with the wonderful front office staff to get the schedule in place and over the next 8 weeks I drove the four hours from where I live in New York to New Hampshire for the treatment and I am so glad I did the long journey each time. After reaching my first milestone, the doctor and I did a thorough evaluation of where I started and how far I had come with her treatment and the results are beyond impressive. Physically, I feel more aligned and balanced, which has not only reduced the pain and discomfort I felt on my first visit, but has improved my overall health, both mentally and physically. My estimate of effectiveness after my first round of treatment is at least an 85-90% overall improvement. Through adjustment, recovery and stretching exercises I truly feel like a new person. 4 appts 3 adjustments and my spine is finding it's way back to an eased state. It's been a great experience to learn about my spine and the focus work of Arete Chiropractic. Both Dr Pratt and Dr Castro have been wonderful to work with. Thank you
