I am a Maumee native who has enjoyed a lifetime of activities including childhood and school sports. I love helping patients of all ages regain all or most activities and teaching them how to take charge of their health. I began Alternative Physical Therapy in 2002 as an independent buisness woman and has developed and grown my staff and our services.Lisa Kelly PT, CSCI, C-NDT began Alternative Physical Therapy independently after 24 years of inpatient Rehab experience. She left Flower Rehabilitation Center after 15 years there specializing in manual alignment and ortho/ Neuro rehab. She describes her dream vision as " Physical Therapy like she would expect it to be for her family and friends. Expertise, one-on-one care, deep compassion, and the mission to meet each patient where they are starting from -honoring their goals and hopefully help them " feel FIVE YEARS younger". We use a WHOLE Body Approach in two comfortable relaxing state of the art NEW clinics at 2526 N Reynolds in Toledo and at 28442 E River Rd in Perrysburg. We educate each patient in multiple ways to maximize their health. We include Aquatic Therapy, Pilates during rehab and as a fitness class or Reformer private/ duet classes., Wellness workshops, yoga/ lunchtime fitness classes. Stroke Life Center( a community support group) ,organic facials/oils.

Education and training
We provide One on One Care to keep your body in motion. Our Physical Therapist has over 40 years of experience in treating the "cause", not just the symptoms and can help provide alignment, increase your flexibility while increasing your strength and function. We are "Alternative" because we listen to your history and concerns and provide a detailed movement and physical therapy evaluation. We then address pain and body alignment while teaching our patients progressive strengthening and positional corrections.
