Dr. Sean Wolfington was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he learned to love competitive sports and ultimately was a two year all state athlete. Studying movement and working in the bodywork field was a natural transition from playing sports. Prior to receiving his doctorate from Sherman College of Chiropractic, Dr. Wolfington earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Michigan State University. While working on his master's degree he was hired on at Walt Disney World's Wide World of Sports and shortly after was invited to work for the National Hockey League. Dr. Wolfington's desire to help people eventually drove him to Sherman College of Chiropractic. After graduating in 2005, Dr. Wolfington and Dr. Sullivan moved to Greenwood, SC to open Active Family Chiropractic. Dr. Wolfigton specializes in the care and treatment of families from infants to seniors, utilizing both gentle instrument adjusting as well as manual adjustments.Active Family Chiropractic first opened it's doors in 2005. Since opening the practice has grown to offer numerous Chiropractic techniques including Advanced Activator Methods, Applied Kinesiology, Manual manipulation as well as offering neuromuscular massage therapy and physiology.
