Dr. Kelsey Botterman is a naturopathic and chiropractic physician. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 2015 from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL and went on to complete her Naturopathic Doctor (ND) degree in 2016, also at National University of Health Sciences. Studying naturopathic medicine allowed her to hone her skills in several areas, including diagnosis, botanical medicine and the determinants of health. Dr. Botterman hopes to inspire her patients to live their healthiest lives, as naturally as possible. She focuses on determining the cause of conditions and works with patients to create comprehensive, realistic treatment plans. Dr. Botterman lives in Lake in the Hills with her significant other, Nick. She is a lifelong resident of McHenry County, growing up on a dairy farm in Huntley. Had my first visit today and I have never felt like I was examined and listened to more thoroughly than I have today. Feeling hopeful and not worse like I have most Dr visits. She explains everything she is doing and why and how for treatment options. If you’re considering naturopathic care I would highly recommend Dr. Botterman they definitely seem to know the human body AND care. Just do it :)

I can’t thank Dr. Botterman enough!! After going to a doctor and getting blood work done for a stomach issue, I left that place feeling unresolved. After looking into a few natural remedies, I finally gave Withania a call. Not only did she break down what was wrong, she gave me a clear path to fixing the issue. Not a month went by and my whole life was changed. It’s not every day you can point to one person and say “hey, she changed my life forever.” But I can with Dr Botterman. I’ll go back to her and have already recommended friends as well. She made it so easy to discuss uncomfortable topics with. I hope she reads this so she understands what difference she made in my day to day life. I’ve literally never written a review, that’s how happy I was with her service.
