I have seen Akiko for a number of treatments - she really is a healer. Most recently I visited for a series of 3 treatments using the Kū Route method. To say it was transformative is an understatement, I literally shed heavy energy and tension that I didn’t even know existed in my body. My skin is brighter, my eyes are more vibrant and the energy channels within my body are cleared and aligned - I even feel lighter in my body and more energized throughout the day. This treatment has helped me to come back to my truest nature and the benefits are everlasting.

I recently completed my third session of Ku Route with Akiko at Attune Wellness. The best word I can use to describe what I experienced: transformational. The first session for me was pretty rough- it is not exactly a pleasant or relaxing experience. Although I suspected it, I was not fully aware of how much stuck energy I was carrying in my body. However, each subsequent session got easier, as Akiko helped me to shed layers of residue. I was not expecting it, but not only do I feel more centered and grounded, I look different. It’s subtle- but the before and after photos don’t lie. My face is less puffy and my eyes are more open and clear. Akiko is truly magic- as I tell her each time I visit. She inspires trust and confidence in her work, just with her presence. While I would highly recommend this experience to everyone, be prepared for discomfort, even some pain, but it’s part of the process of healing. That I am sure of.

Akiko is pure magic! I tell everyone I know her massage is the only thing that can return my stressed out body back to the living. Her methods are so luxurious to the senses and her studio is very clean calm and peaceful. She is kind, always listens and tries to be flexible when she can. I cannot recommend her enough!
