I grew up and went to high school in Virginia, MN on the iron range. I was active in many sports primarily basketball. I attended Mankato State University to study athletic training. While I was studying athletic training, I started to learn more about the body and I realized how important your spine and nervous system are to running your body. One of my rotations was in an advanced back care clinic. We used the most advanced rehab and therapeutic techniques. One day we were working with a really difficult patient. The head of the clinic told me "All these machines are good but if you want to see what really works follow me." He took the patient in the back room and adjusted them. The patient had improved more with one adjustment then in two weeks of rehab. I was amazed. Why hadn't anyone told me about this before? I decided I was going to learn every thing I could about chiropractic. I attended Chiropractic College at Northwestern Chiropractic College in Bloomington, MN.Dr. Eric Hahn & Dr. Alex Sheppard started Oasis Chiropractic PA together in February 2003 after going to the same Chiropractic College. Oasis Chiropractic is a Wellness office that focuses on the complete health and wellness of their patients and families. In 2013 Dr. Megan Eckdahl joined Oasis Chiropractic so we now have 3 Chiropractors which mean 3 doctors looking at your x-rays and adjusting you at different times.
