Chiropractic is the art, science, and philosophy of finding and correcting subluxations. Subluxations are misalignments in the joints of the spine and body, that put pressure on the nervous system which consists of the brain, the spinal cord, and the peripheral nerves. Dr. Wharton will locate subluxations through the use of visual, postural, and joint range-of-motion analysis and then adjust accordingly. Chiropractic adjustments safely and gently move the joints into their proper position, releasing pressure off of the nerves, ultimately allowing the nervous system and surrounding tissues to function optimally and begin to heal.
