Managing Notification Preferences

Notification Types

  • Appointment reminders — Sent 48 hours and 2 hours before your scheduled visit.
  • New messages — Alerts when a provider sends you a secure message.
  • Form requests — Notifications when a provider asks you to complete a form.
  • Billing alerts — New invoices, payment confirmations, and insurance updates.
  • Platform updates — New features and service announcements (optional).

Delivery Channels

Each notification type can be configured independently for:

  • Email — Delivered to your registered email address.
  • SMS — Text messages to your phone number on file.
  • Push notifications — In-app alerts via the Medximity mobile app.

How to Change Your Preferences

Go to Profile > Notifications. Toggle each notification type on or off for each channel. Changes take effect immediately.
