Practical medicine for a practical world

Chinese Medicine is poetic and not widely understood. It can be intimidating and confusing for the first time patient. For this reason, I combine the common language of human experience with my knowledge of Chinese medicine, and a bio-medical education of physiology and bio-mechanics to make treatment a more user friendly comprehensive holistic care that patients can relate to.

As a practitioner, I utilize a combination of techniques and modalities to best serve my patients. I believe patient education and a straightforward approach to health lead to the best treatment results. Rather than being a passive bystander in their health care, I believe my patients have a more effective experience by fully understanding and participating in the healing process. Through open dialogue and communication, I encourage patients to take charge of their own care long after I am needed.I have been practicing acupuncture and Herbal medicine in New York since 2006, when I graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, New York, NY, with a Masters in Chinese Medicine. In 2009 I received an Associates degree in Massage Therapy from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine" New York, NY, in addition to my certification as a Massage Therapist, which I attained at the School of Healing Arts, in San Diego, CA, in 1997. In 2014 received my ACE Personal Training Certification. I am currently practicing in Los Angeles CA as a Licensed Acupuncturist, Certified Massage therapist and Certified Personal Trainer.
