소개

Dr. Wheeler prides himself on his disciplined hands on physical exam skills and ego-less approach to patient care. His career in surgical, family, and sports medicine has led to him challenging over 40 years of commonly accepted ways to treat back, neck and shoulder pain. His passion of studying how pain affects the human body is what provoked a career investigating the cause of pain. This led him to a new way of thinking about and treating pain.

Dr. Wheeler received a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Followed by his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, where he later completed fellowships in Sports Medicine and Pain Management. Dr. Wheeler is among the first medical doctors board-certified in both Sports Medicine and Pain Management.
