Dr. Sylvie Wellhausen has great success in treating patients unable to find answers in the traditional medical paradigm. Born and educated in France, she became a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Functional Medicine practitioner and obtained a Post Doctorate in Internal Disorders as well as a Post Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition in the United States. She has been in private family practice since 1990. Dr. Wellhausen utilizes all regular and functional diagnostics tests available and treats her patients utilizing a balanced combination of Functional Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Chiropractic, lifestyle and emotional support. Her patient base reflects the current statistics, with all the chronic, degenerative diseases that affect Americans today. She is fluent in five languages. She also teaches Functional Medicine to the medical students as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Preventative Medicine at Loma Linda University.Since 1990 Dr. Wellhausen has been practicing Functional Medicine.
