While earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Zappy became became president of Sports Science and Human Performance (SSHP), Rep for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), and with the help of Dr. Craig Liebenson [The LA Clippers (06-09) & AZ Diamondbacks (present) Chiropractor], started a program at NYCC called Rehab to Performance (R2P). Here, he would teach many of the techniques and assessment methods he learned from educational seminars and current research in the industry. In addition to the Doctorate of Chiropractic and passion for educating, Dr. Zappy obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition (MSACN). Dr. Zappy has worked in Veterans Administrations Hospitals, Chronic Care Facilities, Community Outreach Hospitals, and Collegiate Sports Health Centers. The education in Chiropractic Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Nutritional Counseling allow for a well-rounded experience at The Wellness Center.
