Dr Brian Lanoue and Dr Thea Treahy-Geofreda first met in undergrad. Since moving to Vancouver, they wanted to contribute to making Vancouver the healthiest city it could be. While completing their chiropractic training in New Zealand, they knew they wanted to call Vancouver their "forever home". With this in mind, they put the wheels in motion to start The Powerhouse - A Life By Design Certified Office on Main St in Vancouver. Since opening, they are working towards their goals of leading 1000 families in Vancouver to live their Life by Design.The Powerhouse opened in 2016 with the vision to transform the health of Vancouver by leading 1000 families to live their Life By Design. Since then, we have been making our mark on the community and contributing to a healthier Vancouver. Our clients come from all over the Lower Mainland, but we love serving the Olympic Village, Mount Pleasant/Main St, East Van and Chinatown communities.

The majority of Chiropractors are what would be characterized as "traditional". Traditional Chiropractors are excellent at decreasing muscular tension, increasing range of motion and in some cases reducing pain. Our approach at The Powerhouse is significantly different. Our focus is called Bio-Structural Restoration, which narrows in on a core problem with the spinal column and underlying nerve system.
