With his father as a chiropractor all his life, Dr.Daniel Jr. credits his remarkable health and energy to chiropractic care .A family tradition. Dan Strelcheck was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine by family and, a life changing personal experience. His uncle ran a successful chiropractic practice in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, in the 40's. Dan admired the work of his uncle but had other interests and college football was one of them. As a student in college in St. Petersburg, Florida Dan's fate was sealed when he sustained a massive football injury. The painful migraines and seizures were completely turned around by a skilled chiropractor. "After that, I thought if I can help one person the way I got helped, my life's work would have meaning," said Dan, 73. Dan Strelcheck Sr., began the practice 50 years ago with humble surroundings at the corner of Route 14 and Pingree Road. A decade later, he built a massive, 6,400-square-foot clinic to accommodate the growing needs of the community.
