Dr. Brian Murphy is a licensed chiropractic physician, a licensed massage therapist, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist with a Masters Degree in Nutrition. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Bridgewater State University. Dr. Murphy received his Doctorate and Masters of Science degrees from Bridgeport University. Dr. Murphy is at the forefront of treatment for soft tissue and musculoskeletal disorders. Some of the therapies he provides are Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique, corrective and rehabilitative exercise, deep tissue technique, muscle energy and stretching, as well as joint mobilization.

Dr. Brian Murphy is a Chiropractor located in the downtown area of Stamford, CT. At Stamford Spine, we believe that using a combination of massage, chiropractic, spinal manipulation, and therapeutic exercises is your best bet against most back, neck, shoulder and hip pain. During your first visit to Stamford Spine we will evaluate your medical history and assess your recent health complaints. Dr. Murphy will then thoroughly examine your spine and nervous system. The results will help him decide how to proceed and develop a treatment plan that will help restore you to health. Through treatments ranging from spinal manipulation, grastin techniques, deep tissue techniques, as well as joint mobilization, we attempt to deliver the best personalized hands on care. Dr. Murphy also treats patients involved in motor vehicle accidents/ personal injury patients, workers compensation, and no fault.
