A corporate refugee, Stefan spent 16 years working for companies such as Gartner, AT&T, and Paychex. He grew up with bodywork practiced regularly in the household and decided to develop these skills further and begin a new career. He likes to incorporate different massage modalities such as Shiatsu, Reflexology, Swedish, Myofascial Therapies & Release, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Acupressure and stretching to get results.Founded by Stefan Smith, a graduate of the National Holistic Institute, Sports Massage Marin is focused on getting results and relief for our clients. Whether you are an athlete preparing for an event and need some fine tuning, or recovering from an injuries such as whiplash and need more than standard physical therapy, or just need to de-stress, we come up with a therapy plan and suggestions for your ongoing wellness.Stefan is well versed in working with softball, baseball, basketball, rugby, tennis, golf, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, horseback riding and soccer injuries. He works with people to speed injury recovery time, and prevent injuries in the future by utilizing an extensive knowledge of kinesiology to break down scar tissue, lessen adhesions on muscle fibers, lengthen muscles, restore Range of Motion (ROM) to body joints and help patients with Pain Management.
