Dr. Wiertel uses a "Global approach." This approach to wellness means first looking for underlying causes of any disturbances or disruptions (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time). Next, this approach includes making necessary interventions and lifestyle adjustments which will optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Wiertel is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. Dr. Wierel is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee where she grew up. She shares her parents philosophies with her patients where she prefers treating with natural therapies first, then medication and surgery as a last resort.
