Dr. Joseph Balen graduated from New York Chiropractic in 1997. Prior to studying at Chiropractic School, he attended Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York where he received his Bachelors degree. Dr. Balen has been practicing for over 13 years. He has been well established in beautiful Sarasota, Florida for 12 years. Dr. Balen has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. Dr. Balen is also a tour Chiropractor for many bands and celebrities. He has worked with groups like The Who, The Eagles, Dashboard Confessional, Hannah Montana, Greenday, Blink 182, Guns and Roses, Kiss, AeroSmith, Def Leppard, Mariah Carey, and Alicia Keys to name a few.

Dr. Joe is the absolute best! I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years for adjustments, hydrotherapy and de-compression when I need it. From normal adjustments that keep me aligned, to getting me back to normal from a car accident and from a fall, I cannot recommend him enough :)

I traveled from Atlanta down to Florida in pain totally left sacroiliac out ,shoulder hurting ,knee hurting ,,and I was lucky enough to find Dr. Joe BALEN!! Not only did he adjust my sacroiliac, but he also did my back and my neck and my shoulders.. Love it I have 32 years in Chiropractic! Dr Joe is amazing!!!

I just saw up their balen for the first time, this was by far the best experience I've ever had with a chiropractor! Very knowledgeable and professional. Walked me through the whole process as he was doing it and addressed every issue! I will definitely continue coming here

I started seeing Dr. Balen a couple of months ago for shoulder pain. Prior to that, I had been seeing another chiropractor for quite a while and he did not address the shoulder pain which I had complained about. The first visit when I was treated by Dr Balen he took care of it with an adjustment and I’ve been continuing to see him since. He is attentive, very skilled and compassionate. He makes sure everything is taken care of during my visit. He does not push package plans like other chiropractors do I highly recommend him for your chiropractic needs.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Balen. He was incredibly sensitive to not only what I said, but what my body said also. Rayna, who runs things, makes you feel like family. She was delightful and kind.She started me off in a hydro massage chair, which put my body in a position to receive one of the best adjustments I've received in a long time! I cannot say enough about Simple Relief and their service to our community!
